End of Term

Posted below is Giotto's   'Adoration of the Magi',   a fresco in the Arena Chapel in Padua, Italy. It depicts the three wise men coming to visit the baby Jesus. SCC Art wish all a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year. We look forward to the Hilary term when we will continue to post examples of pupil-work and other Art Department news.

Form II 3D construction

SCC Art wanted to post some Form II 3D construction before term ends tomorrow. Materials used included cardboard, chicken wire, papier mache and plasticine.

Junior Cert Art Exhibition & Carol Service.

After the annual Carol Service in the Chapel last night, an Exhibition of Art Work by last year's Form III pupils was held in the BSR. It was a festive event complete with mince pies and mulled wine!
