Preparation for the annual Exhibition & Art Prize

Amongst other projects this year the Form VI Q set began, and are now in the final stages of a groupwork clay modelling project. Using the College Chapel as a starting point for the project they chose to depict the words 'I will fear no evil' in a number of clay tiles. They hope to have the pieces glaze fired for the annual art exhibition and prizes evening which will be held in the BSR on the evening of Saturday April 2nd.

Junior Cert Art

Pupils are now at the stage of completing either the 3d construction or craft option section of the project. In order to complete the project on time there will have to be lots of hard work in the coming weeks leading up to the Easter break. The Junior Cert exam will take place almost as soon as we return to school next term so the pressure is on to complete the project! Posted below are examples of construction, batik, clay modelling and lino printing.
